Albeit an amazingly important, planned-all-your-life {at least for you brides}, fun, memories-making day, you don’t need to spend an ARM and a LEG to create the wedding of your dreams. There are places and websites to buy decor, fashion, and even catering {cake stands and such} items on a budget to OOMPH up every aspect of your wedding. Make sure you check out places like Etsy and 100 Layer Cake for deals on handmade, used and vintage items!
A simple search on Etsy for ‘Silverware’ brought up a myriad of different items. Awesome items, at that. Here are a few…
1. Silverware Bracelets for your Bridal Party as seen here.
2. ‘Spread Love’ cheese knives for your stationary table. Too Cute {and we would gladly use these for you}!
3. Mr. and Mrs. Flatware {with a ‘Just Married Spoon} for the day of!
4. Burlap flatware holders will surely dress up your table.
Etsy has so much more, though, too. There are table numbers and invitations made to order; there are handmade dresses and veils and flowers for your hair and ring cushions. And, and, I could go on for days.
100 Layer Cake. Very different in style. A great resource, nonetheless. Here, in their Marketplace, you can purchase items being sold by former brides. What do all of those other brides do with the runners that they purchased just for their wedding…do they really need 15 yellow and white runners? They don’t. So, they sell them on 100 Layer Cake.
Take a looksee.
1. 150 Vintage Bottles for your DIY centerpieces.
2. Gowns from $475+
4. Yellow and White Runners and Table Toppers
Anywho…you all get the point, right? Use your resources! Wisely. It will definitely pay off!

We have a new member on our team. Her name is Jen. She hails from Utah [although originally from our neck of the woods]. The full disclosure will come next week. But, the reason that we’re introducing Jen today is because she introduced US to some VERY unique invitations. She’s getting married next Fall, and so she’s looking at all of this pretty stuff every day [we've been told she's quite the wedding magazine hoarder, but that's okay in our books!]. And we LOVE hearing about new ideas!
Introducing Night Owl Paper Goods.
For just $7, they’ll send you a little sample pouch. And yes, it is a pouch. A very cute one, at that!
Inside, you’ll find sample invitations, save the dates, reply cards, envelopes and some other fun stuff. All made on bamboo with various designs and colors…
And they have the CUTEST little business cards!
[we're a little jealous, not going to lie!]

These may be some of the most creative {and WILDLY beautiful} Save The Dates that we’ve seen to DATE!
Shannon and Dan, who will be TYING the KNOT on October 1st {as you can see from the photos below!} at Saltwater Farm Vineyard, created these innovative wooden cards, to provide their guests with the date of their special day. It’s totally more than just a date reminder, though, if you as US! It’s a piece of ART!
A joint effort by the pair, Dan designed the wooden card in CAD and Shannon designed the envelopes, inserts and stickers! Talk about duo.
We can’t wait to see what this pair has dreamed up for their wedding day.
Looking forward to October!

Jeanette (our wonderful Wedding Specialist) just passed along this website -
Outstanding in the Field. She suggested that I share it with all of you lovely readers.
And, I agreed!
It looks pretty darn amazing.
We’ve all heard of farm to table style dinners. But, this is
better. This organization travels. They’re even coming to Connecticut this summer (August 20th)!
And they’re traveling in THIS van.
I even went as far as saving it with the title, ‘Awesome Truck!’ on my desktop.
GORGEOUS table in amongst the fields.
I wouldn’t mind dining here EVERY NIGHT.
And on to the food.
We’re suckers for some good pulled pork, so this certainly strikes our fancy!

And here are a few others…that sparked our interest.
And dessert…
